HOW WE FIND EDGES
At Scout Intel, our prop model cross-references recent usage trends, matchup data, umpire/referee tendencies, and sharp line movement to identify spots where sportsbooks have mispriced individual player markets. We weight the last 10 performances heavily while adjusting for opponent strength, venue factors, and any roster news that has yet to be fully priced into the market. When our projection diverges from the posted line by at least 8%, we flag it as a playable edge.

TOP 5 PROPS TODAY
1. Trevor Rogers — Strikeouts Over 4.5 (-115) | Mariners at Nationals
*Model Projection: 6.1 Ks*
Rogers has quietly been one of the more undervalued arms in the NL, posting double-digit strikeout rates over his last five starts. Washington's lineup sits in the bottom six of the league in contact rate against left-handed pitching, and with a soft home crowd and zero lineup protection concerns, Rogers should be working deep into counts. The 4.5 number feels at least a full strikeout short of where it belongs.
2. Victor Wembanyama — Points + Assists Over 32.5 (-110) | Knicks at Spurs
*Model Projection: 35.8*
Wembanyama has been borderline unguardable in home playoff-environment matchups this season, averaging 36.2 combined points and assists over his last six games at the AT&T Center. New York's defensive scheme tends to cede dribble penetration to create help-side rotations, which opens up exactly the mid-range and elbow touches Wemby feasts on. Back the face of the franchise here with confidence.
3. Gerrit Cole — Strikeouts Over 6.5 (-120) | Yankees at Blue Jays
*Model Projection: 7.8 Ks*
Toronto has fanned at least 8 times in five of their last seven home games against right-handed starters with above-average velocity. Cole is coming off a 9-strikeout performance and his four-seam spin metrics have ticked back up after a brief mid-May dip. Rogers Centre's lack of carry may actually help Cole keep hitters off balance on the inner half — this line should be -145 at minimum.
4. Sam LaPorta — Receiving Yards Over 42.5 (-112) | Saints at Lions
*Model Projection: 58.3 yards*
Detroit is expected to lean on their passing game early in a game where the Lions enter as sizable favorites. LaPorta has seen 6+ targets in four consecutive games and New Orleans has allowed the third-most receiving yards to tight ends over the past three weeks. With the Saints potentially playing from behind, Detroit's offense could be operating through two-tight-end sets that keep LaPorta on the field well into the second half.
5. Andrei Svechnikov — Shots on Goal Over 3.5 (-118) | Hurricanes at Golden Knights
*Model Projection: 4.7 shots*
Vegas has conceded 30+ shots in three of their last four home playoff games, and Svechnikov's motor doesn't quit in high-leverage moments — he's logged 4+ shots in six of his last eight postseason outings. T-Mobile Arena's ice conditions tend to favor East Coast skaters who play a physical north-south game, which is Svechnikov's bread and butter. Back him to challenge the net early and often here.

PROP BET STRATEGY
Never allocate more than 2-3% of your total bankroll to a single prop bet, regardless of how strong the model edge appears — variance in individual player markets is far higher than in game lines. Build a diversified prop card across sports and avoid chasing losses by inflating unit sizes mid-session.
